Heavily pregnant Meghan Markle flaunts baby bump on Commonwealth Day


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the Canada House in London to kick off celebrations for the Commonwealth Day. The couple, whose new roles as President and Vice President of of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, include being in the forefront of the 'family of nations' made their way into the building with Harry putting a protective arm over his pregnant wife, helping her on the curb as well.

Meghan, who is pregnant with the couple's first child and is due next month in April, looked full in bloom and highlighted her burgeoning baby bump clad in an Erdem design. Dressed in the custom piece inspired from Montréal-born Erdem Moralioglu's Fall/ Winter 2019 Collection, the entire ensemble is estimated to have cost around £8,000 by celebrity stylist Lucas Armitage.

The Duchess looked radiant in her bottle-green ensemble which featured black beaded details on the cuffs and collar, and had on black sling-back Deneuve pumps from Aquazzura which had 4" high heels, quite daring for a lady in her third trimester. Meghan also carried a matching black clutch and wore her raven hair in a low bun with loose strands framing her face.

Meghan has lived in Toronto for over six years while filming legal drama Suits, and describes it as her second home. The 37 year old also said that she feels 'very connected' to the country, and the couple was presented some gifts for Baby Sussex before departing, including a £14.29 Canadian maple leaf baby bodysuit from Hop & Moo and a pair of £42.86 Manitobah Mukluks infant moccasins.
