Fur-give And Fur-get

Fashion trends keep changing. The most luxurious of fabrics, fur has definitely fallen back into favor judging by it’s major presence in runways around the world. You can’t deny the unparalleled beauty/richness of this fabric made controversial by the humane society’s fur-free campaign. While some designers still serve real fur, others have embraced faux fur, serving the rich fur look but sparing the animals.

Wear it as a collar, a stole, a vest, a wrap or as a most opulent coat for an added drama to the most simplistic outfit and take your street style from drab to fab. Think wild, luxe and glam! Nothing says pure glamour like an all white fur look, super chic too.

Digging deeper in my closet I found this snazzy faux fur coat in emerald, Pantone’s color of 2013 and it kept me warm through a chilly early eve out. I had on a lovely dress in my favorite color, drum roll - purple and finished it off with cat eye sunnies in green. Are you green with envy yet? Lol.

About that hair! I am a short hair lover and have worn my hair short and boyish for years and years. What’s not to love? Short hair can be styled just as glamorously as long hair, but in half the time I think. All it takes is finger combing some days. I spike out the top every once in a while for a piecey and edgy look. I also think you have to have a strong face to pull off short hair so yay me, lol.

I receive a lot of fan messages to wear my hair long and I finally veeeery reluctantly indulged just for the fun of it. I couldn't get my hands out of it. I’m so glad I tried it because now I am more convinced than ever that long hair is not for me. I am having fun with it tho, blowing in the wind and all however I’ll stick with short. It’s my signature, :).

But how has your week been so far? Mine has been nothing but fab! The festive season has come and gone. It's back to work, back to life as we know it.
