Over the weekend, Selena Gomez took to Instagram to debut a snippet of her new song, and for obvious reasons everyone thinks it's about Justin Bieber.
"I had a dream, we were back to 17, summer nights... never growing up," Gomez could be heard singing on her Instagram story. Many quickly pointed out that when Gomez and Bieber met they were, in fact, sweet 17.
According to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Gomez has recently registered a new song entitled, It Ain't Me, which she co-wrote with DJ Kygo.
Three other writers, Brian Lee, Ali Tamposi and Andrew Watt, each also have a writing credit for the song and it's pertinent to note that all three also worked on the DJ Snake and Bieber collaboration, Let Me Love You.
In the video Gomez posted to her Instagram story, the singer has drawn a black 'X' over her mouth - X as in ex?
